These notices explain what we do with the information you send us and the basis on which we quote and provide services. Last updated 6 November 2026.
Privacy notice
Prime Survivors International Ltd ("PSIL", "we") processes personal data in line with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana. This notice covers the data we collect through this website and in the course of providing freight forwarding, customs brokerage and haulage services.
What we collect
- Contact details you submit through the quote form: name, company, email address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry.
- Shipment data needed to perform the service: consignee and shipper details, invoice and packing information, and customs declarations.
- Technical data generated by your browser, such as the pages requested and the time of the request, held in server logs for security and diagnostics.
Why we process it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, arrange carriage and clearance, comply with customs and tax obligations, and maintain records required for audit under our ISO management system. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary to perform the service: carriers, terminal operators, partner agents, haulage subcontractors, and Customs or other regulatory authorities. All parties are bound to use the data solely for the purpose for which it was shared.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for two years. Transaction and customs records are kept for the period required by Ghanaian tax and customs law, currently six years.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to processing. Write to info@primesurvivors.com or to the address in the footer. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
Terms of service
These terms apply to quotations and services provided by PSIL unless a separate written agreement has been signed.
Quotations
Quotations are valid for fourteen days and are based on the information supplied at the time of quoting. Duty, levies and exchange rates are indicative until Customs assesses the entry. Variations in scope, volume, weight or routing may change the price.
Our obligations
We will exercise reasonable skill and care in arranging carriage, clearance and delivery, and will keep you informed of material developments. We act as an agent for the carrier in respect of carriage, and as a principal only where expressly stated.
Your obligations
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and documents you provide, for the lawfulness of the goods, and for paying duty, taxes and charges when due. Incorrect declarations may result in penalties, storage and demurrage, which are for your account.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and, for carriage, by the applicable convention or carrier terms. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or market.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction.
